More than 500 travel advisors – and a record 17 Visit Orlando partners - attended training events across the UK in April
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Visit Orlando, in association with Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and 14 other destination partners, hosted the one-of-a-kind in-person training series Orlando Live!, between 24th – 27th April 2023. With more than 500 attendees, the event series had the largest combined attendance for a Visit Orlando training series.

Taking place across London (24th April), Manchester (26th April) and Glasgow (27th April), the events convened agents and advisors for comprehensive destination training for the Theme Park Capital of the World®, inclusive of game sessions, opportunities to win prizes and destination updates to equip professionals with expert tips on selling the Orlando experience to create unbelievably real moments for their customers.
“The UK remains Orlando’s top overseas international market, making it vitally important for us to have an in-market presence to share the latest destination developments with our trade partners,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “Orlando continues to expand its offering of unbelievably real experiences suited to a wide range of interests, building on a very successful year in 2022 in which the destination was named the largest travel and tourism city in the US1.”
During Orlando Live!, representatives from Orlando shared information on new hotels, attractions and experiences. In addition to learning more about the destination, five travel advisors from each city were awarded a trip to Orlando to attend The 2023 Ultimate Orlando Experience VIP Superfam taking place later this year.
