CMS Intern
Core Responsibilities
- Support website updates within the Simpleview CMS, including:
- Quarterly content updates
- International blog updates
- Page edits and basic content QA
- Support “fresh-eyes” UX checks by doing quick walkthroughs of key pages (mobile + desktop) to flag confusing areas, broken journeys, or unclear messaging, and document findings with screenshots
- Support refreshing image content through the site
- Support basic alt-text updates for key images to improve accessibility and usability
- I know Danielle has mentioned wanting to swap out images
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of CMS elements, such as:
- Tags for widgets and components
- URL structures and internal linking
- Help monitor and update expiring assets across the site.
- Support accessibility efforts by identifying issues and assisting with updates that improve compliance and usability.
- Assist with ad-related updates, including placement checks and content refreshes.
- Contribute to digital campaign support (e.g., Magical Dining), helping execute content updates tied to live campaigns.
Tools & Technology Exposure
- Hands-on experience with Simpleview CMS and website workflows.
- Exposure to AI tools integrated into the website for:
- Testing and optimization
- Content performance insights
- Introduction to QA processes for live websites
Reporting & Analysis
- Support reporting on:
- Expiring assets
- Active ads
- Accessibility status and improvements
- Learn how to track changes, document updates, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Growth & Learning Opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of how large-scale websites are managed in a real-world environment.
- Learn the full lifecycle of digital content and requests through Jira—from an “Open” ticket to “Resolved”—including how tasks are created, prioritized, assigned, QA’d, and completed within a project management workflow.
- Build foundational knowledge in:
- Web accessibility best practices
- SEO-friendly content structure, including proper use of heading hierarchy
- Gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration with global and int’ marketing, creative service, Orlando Meetings, membership sales, etc...
- Grow confidence in using enterprise CMS tools and supporting live, high-visibility digital campaigns.

**Interns will be paid $16 per hour, must be enrolled in classes, & must be able to work between 20-24 hours a week. (Flexibility in days/hours)
