Meet Julia

Julia DeVault serves as the Vice President of People and Culture at Visit Orlando, bringing more than 20 years of experience in human resources (HR) and organizational development. In her role, Julia leads the HR function and champions a thriving workplace culture that supports the continued growth and success of the organization. 

Julia rejoined Visit Orlando in October 2025 after more than a decade at Experience Kissimmee, where she served as Director of Human Resources. Shortly after its privatization, Julia joined the team at Experience Kissimmee and played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s employee engagement strategy and HR operations over the next ten years. 

Her career began at Visit Orlando in 2001 as a Travel Counselor, quickly advancing to HR Coordinator later that year. Over the following 14 years, Julia progressed through multiple roles, ultimately serving as HR Manager and contributing significantly to the organization’s people-first approach. 

Originally from Aurora, Illinois, Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and Family Studies from the University of Illinois. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Greater Orlando Human Resources Association, and the Hospitality Human Resources Association.
