Vice President of Digital & Data Strategy
Tim Megginson is the vice president of digital & data strategy at Visit Orlando, overseeing the organization’s digital marketing, email CRM, business analytics, and emerging technology initiatives—including the integration of artificial intelligence and privacy-first data strategy.
Since joining Visit Orlando, Tim has transformed the organization’s digital and data strategy, delivering innovative and measurable results. For the marketing team, he has driven initiatives including the redesign of 10 websites, leading to 90 million web sessions in 2024. He was instrumental in launching the DOMO business intelligence platform to expand access to data across the organization and has led successful AI-powered pilot campaigns using Google’s Performance Max and Demand Gen.
Before joining Visit Orlando, Tim served as chief digital strategist at The Dollywood Company, overseeing the company’s digital transition and playing a pivotal role in the successful opening of Dollywood's inaugural resort. His career journey began at Universal Orlando Resort, where he progressively advanced to senior manager of marketing for Universal Parks and Resorts Vacations.
Tim was named one of Orlando Business Journal’s “17 People to Know in Tourism and Hospitality” and received the 2024 Domo Community Ovation Award for “Rookie of the Year.” He also serves on the IAB Measurement, Attribution & Data Board and holds an MBA from the University of Florida and holds an MBA from the University of Florida.
