As we head into the holiday weekend, Orlando is once again proving why it’s one of the nation’s top travel destinations. Hotel bookings for the Fourth of July weekend (July 4–6) are pacing 10% ahead of last year, signaling strong demand from visitors.

This momentum reflects national travel trends and recent recognitions, including:

  • AAA projecting a record-breaking 72.2 million Americans traveling over the holiday, with Orlando claiming the top domestic destination spot.
  • Expedia naming Orlando a Top 5 Fourth of July destination, as featured on ABC News.
  • AAA listing Orlando among its most popular summer travel spots.

Adding to the excitement, Orlando will host the final quarterfinal match of the FIFA Club World Cup, drawing international attention and giving visitors yet another reason to choose our destination this summer. If you still haven’t made plans for the holiday weekend, you can find ideas at Visit Orlando’s blog: Fourth of July Fireworks and Fun.

As the holiday weekend gets underway, we hope you find time to enjoy the celebrations and connect with friends and family.

We also want to extend our thanks to the many hospitality professionals who will be working throughout the weekend to welcome visitors and help them make the most of their time in Orlando. Your efforts are essential to what makes this destination shine — especially during busy weekends like this one.

Wishing you a fun, safe and memorable Fourth of July!
