This Marks the 11th Time Orlando Has Earned Cvent’s Highest Distinction 
14 Orlando area convention hotels and resorts named to Top Meeting Hotel in North America list 

Orlando, Fla. – May 19, 2026 – Today, Orlando was named Cvent’s No. 1 Top Meeting Destination in North America by the industry-leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider. Event planners, marketers, hoteliers and travel professionals utilize Cvent’s efficiency-driving technology to market and manage their group and corporate travel business. 

This marks the 11th time Orlando has topped the globally recognized Cvent Top Meeting Destinations list, which analyzes and ranks cities that stand out for their exceptional ability to attract group business to their areas through thoughtful event planner collaboration, distinctive experiential offerings, and unique hotels and venues. Rankings are determined based on sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network, one of the world’s largest venue-sourcing platforms.

Additionally, 14 Orlando area convention hotels and resorts were named as a Top Meeting Hotels in North America with 10 ranked in the Top 100. The list includes the Orlando World Center Marriott (12), Hyatt Regency Orlando (16), JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes (18), Hilton Orlando (19), Caribe Royale Orlando (29), Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress (34), Signia by Hilton Orlando at Bonnet Creek (51), Rosen Shingle Creek (55), JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa (78), Rosen Centre Hotel (99), Loews Sapphire Falls Resort (179) and Loews Royal Pacific Resort (227) at Universal Orlando Resort, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld (180), and Waldorf Astoria Orlando (248). 

Orlando continues to invest in the destination’s meeting industry with new, recent and upcoming expansions and upgrades to the convention center, airport and convention hotels. 

Expansion and Enhancement Projects at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando International Airport and Cvent-ranked Hotels 

The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has begun construction on the $560-million Grand Concourse Expansion, which will add 44,000 square feet of meeting space and a 100,000-square-foot ballroom on to the North-South Building. Opening in late 2029, the project aims to improve connectivity and meet demand for larger, flexible event venues, enhancing the Center’s ability to host major events. 

Orlando International Airport (MCO) has commenced on $5.9 billion in enhancement projects that will expand capacity, modernize airport facilities and elevate the travel experience by 2030. 

This summer, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will complete a $275 million renovation and expansion project when the property unveils a 120,000-square-foot expansion of the Dolphin’s event space. In 2025, the property completed the renovation of all 756 guest rooms and suites in the Swan hotel. 

Caribe Royale Orlando opened the new 20,000-square-foot Coral Ballroom and Martinique Meeting rooms, bringing the total amount of meeting space to 260,000 square feet. 

Hiton Orlando, one of the four hotels connected to the Orange County Convention Center, upgraded all 1,424 guest rooms with a modern design exemplified by the natural light Florida is known for.
