This year, the destination offers a rich lineup of events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Beginning with family-friendly activities in March, the festivities continue through signature events such as GayDays Orlando and One Magical Weekend in May/June and conclude with the Come Out with Pride Festival in October. These events, alongside a variety of year-round offerings, provide travelers from around the world with opportunities to build the ultimate LGBTQ+-friendly adventure in 2025.

As the No. 1 travel destination in the U.S., Orlando has been a pioneer in LGBTQ+ tourism since the inaugural Gay Days in 1991, consistently achieving a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index.   • The Pride Prom: Light up the night on April 12 at a neon-themed glow party hosted by Come Out with Pride at the Orlando Science Center (21+ only).
  • GayDays: Taking place from June 5 – 8, GayDays attracts over 180,000 attendees from around the world. Hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at Seaworld, the event features pool parties, expos, and special theme park meetups. Expect a vibrant atmosphere with entertainment, networking, and community-building
  • Girls in Wonderland: Spanning from June 5 - 9, this event is tailored for the women of the LGBTQ+ community and celebrates its 25th anniversary with a lineup of DJs, celebrities, comedians and live musical performances.
  • One Magical Weekend: Featuring 10 events at multiple venues in Orlando including Walt Disney World Resorts from May 29 - June 2, this event is one of the largest LGBTQ+ pride and music festivals.
  • The Pride Cup: From May 31 - June 2, this annual multi-sport tournament celebrates athleticism and inclusivity, welcoming all levels of athletes.
  • Come Out with Pride – Pride Parade: Join the festivities on October 18 with a parade through downtown Orlando, live entertainment stages, youth zones, sober spaces and a trans rally. Last year's new additions included an ADA guide, a quiet relaxation area, and events honoring Black and Brown Queer Women.

UNMISSABLE LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY HUBS IN ORLANDO

Orlando’s neighborhoods are hotspots of creativity, offering exceptional dining and nightlife experiences that cater to all visitors.

  • SAVOY Orlando: Located in the Ivanhoe Village Main Street district, SAVOY Orlando is a non-stop party complete with go-go dancers, drag shows, billiards, dancing and electrifying themed events. Best of all, there’s no cover charge.
  • Out Of The Closet (thrift store in Winter Park), Maffrey’s (gift store in Ivanhoe Village) and Lacastro (men’s clothing store on Mills 50) are just a few of the LGBTQ+-owned stores in Orlando.
  • Quantum Leap Winery: A sustainable winery and cidery that offers tastings by the glass or in various themed wine flights. They typically close early on Fridays and Saturdays around 8 p.m.
  • Wills Pub: An LGBTQ+ friendly bar in Mills 50 neighborhood, hosting drag, burlesque and indie music shows.
  • The Glass Knife: Known for their beautiful, handcrafted pastries and scratch-made savory dishes.
  • Se7en Bites: A MICHELIN Recommended restaurant serving Southern comfort dishes.
  • Southern Nights: Voted Orlando Weekly’s Best Gay Bar for five years running, it is the largest of its kind in Orlando, with themed nights, multiple drag performances weekly and burlesque acts every Saturday. It has become a must-visit spot in the city.
